Conjointly, JJF is officially registered as an NGO in Nigeria and celebrated its Launch in Lagos, Nigeria on October 27, 2013.

Joyful Joy is named in honor of Joy Ighodaro, sister of Osas. Joy was with child and contrated malaria while on a visit to Nigeria and tragically two lives vanished. Joyful Joy is a celebration of life. It is a reminder to love those you hold dear, honor the ones we have lost and do our very best to help uplift the human condition of those who are in dire need.

Joyful Joy exists to leverage broad collaborations with individuals, organizations and corporations to provide communities with little or no access to resources, with the basic necessities to live a healthy and productive life.
